“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
- Luke 1:37

Look around, many situations in life seem hopeless. The history around this verse is the birth of Jesus. This is the greatest Blessing ever to appear in the world! God in the flesh! God with us! How is this possible? Isn’t it impossible? With God there is nothing and will never be anything impossible. Not only Mary, but also Elisabeth, Mary’s cousin, would give birth to a child by the promise of God. Elisabeth? She was too old, and besides this, all her life she was barren. BUT with God nothing is impossible! To Elisabeth and her husband Zacharias, a son was born. His name was John. Later, he was called “John the Baptist”. If God is on your team, don’t believe that there are impossible situations in life. What can we do to progress even in situations that look impossible? First of all, I have a question: Are you seeking God’s will? For example: God commanded me to preach for Jesus in Albania. I could have said, “No! I want to preach in America.” But if I opposed, then I would be outside of God’s will and far from His blessings. Elisabeth could have said to God, “I don’t want a baby! I want to be queen in Israel!” NO! NO! NO! God’s will was for her to bare a son, and for that son to prepare the way for Christ. Therefore, it wasn’t impossible. Don’t seek things to fulfill your own lusts. In James 4:3, the Bible says, “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” Seek God’s will, because only then will you glorify Him, and in this way nothing will be impossible! AMEN!
