My name is Aaron Wilson. I was raised in a Christian home. As one preacher said. “I was in church nine months before I was born.” I thank God for my Christian heritage. I have always been taught from the King James Bible. My mother homeschooled my brothers and sisters and myself. I don’t know any other life than that of a Christian, but as we know, all of these before mentioned cannot save a soul from hell. Though the heritage is precious and strategically gives children a strong Biblical foundation, it cannot redeem the soul of a man. On August 29th, 1993, I had heard the Word of God preached one more time. I had learned that Jesus came to die on the cross for my sins. I knew I needed to be saved and receive Jesus as my personal Saviour, but I was afraid to say anything in church. When we arrived at home that evening I was still under conviction. My Dad put us to bed, and I remember him turning out the lights. I couldn’t sleep. I didn’t want to go to hell. I jumped out bed, went to my Dad and told him that I needed to be saved. He took the Bible and showed me what the Holy Scriptures say about salvation. That night I asked Jesus to save me! and He did! I still have my old worn-out King James Bible, in which I wrote these words that night, “I have decided to follow Jesus.” I thank the Lord that He saved me as just a seven-year-old boy. He has walked with me through every trial of life. He has forgiven me of all my sins past, present and future. Glory be to the Blessed Name of Jesus!
